New designs have been revealed of the green public space that is planned for HS2's Old Oak Common station. The proposals include the creation of new public parkland that will be accessible via Old Oak Common Lane, featuring gardens, tree and shrub planting and a viewing platform over a small wetland area and station plaza. Seating and public art installations will also be provided. The plans have been developed by Balfour Beatty VINCI SYSTRA (BBVS JV) and their design contractor WSP. HS2 LTD.
