摘要

The aerodynamic characteristics of train/vehicles due to cross winds depend not only on configurations of train/vehicles but also on those of infrastructures (bridges ,embankments and others).The cross wind velocity to over-turn train/vehicles depends on the aerodynamic characteristics of the vehicles, wind direction and train speed. This paper briefly describes test results, classifies typical configurations of train/vehicles, infrastructures and aerodyanmic characteristics of each of typical train/vehicles on infrastructures investigated by wind tunnel tests.
