摘要

The Global Health Library (GHL) was unveiled in September of 2005 by the World Health Organization (WHO). The goal of the GHL is to facilitate the sharing of medical and public health information internationally, particularly in and with the developing world. The Global Health Library website has a clean layout, with WHO Libraries and Networks listed on the left and the Virtual Health Library Newsletter and health related events listed on the right. The centre of the screen contains the search interface for the literature database, below which are links to the GHL collaborative space (some of the content in this area is available through log-in only) and information about the GHL.
