DOE Green Energy is provided by the United States Department of Energy Office of Scientific and Technical Information. It provides a searchable interface to research reports, documents and patents relating to green energy research conducted or funded by the Department of Energy. The majority of the reports found date from the 1970s to the present; however, many date back to the 1940s with a few going back even earlier. The earliest document found by this reviewer dated to 1916. The opening page is fairly simple consisting of a search box in the centre. On the right are links to information about the DOE Green Energy site and contact information. Also on the left is a news box which cycles through several news stories relating to green energy.
