摘要

Holiday online shopping during the next two months may stay about equal to - or could climb slightly above - last year's level. Which would be good news in a retail environment that is, to say the least, "unsettled" amid war, recession, and layoff fears. The electronic retailing forecasters who have issued predictions for online shopping during the coming holiday season generally are expecting $11 billion to $12 billion in sales, just above last year's e-tailing tally (REC, Jan. 30, 2001; p. 6).
