Gazprom has reduced its forecast of gas sales to its European core market, forecasting 2010 sales will be unchanged compared to 2009 levels. "We expect gas sales to Europe in 2010 to be flat compared to 2009," Gazprom's chief financial officer Andrei Kruglov said in an investor conference call. The Russian gas company had previously expected to boost its sales volumes to Europe this year to 145 Bcm of gas, up from 142 Bcm in 2009.
