摘要

The present invention provides a "tortuous" (non-straight) path for the lap portion of the seat belt when installing a child seat or a child seat base with the seat belt. By doing so, the seat belt better constrains the child seat or child seat base and provides a safer installation. When installing a child seat or a child seat base (4) with the seat belt, depending on the design of the seat or the base, the lap portion of the seat belt (5) can be a straight line, from the seat belt anchor point to the seat bell buckle (6). When this is the case, the child seat, or the base does not lit tightly on the seat, because they have the possibility to slide laterally, no matter how tight the seat belt is.
