CP Group has manufactured and installed more than 400 materials recovery facilities (MRFs) in cities across the planet, touching every continent except Antarctica. But back at CP Group's home base, San Diego, sister company IMS Recycling Services has been busy sorting materials from households for nearly two decades. IMS Recycling operates a 37,000-square-foot MRF near the heart of California's second-largest city. The facility, which sits on roughly 1.5 acres in a high])' developed area only blocks from Naval Base San Diego, receives curbside single-stream material from about half of San Diego's households.
