The present invention relates to a composition for regulating plant development processes, comprising a composition for regulating plant development processes comprising an MRF1 protein, a nucleic acid sequence encoding the MRF1 protein, or an inhibitor of expression or activity of the MRF1 protein. By using the composition of the present invention as described above, it is possible to delay the flowering time or aging time of the plant, and in particular, it can be effectively used for the cultivation of plants using leaves for food.
