Plastic recycling machinery company Artec has unveiled its new modular component machine design, featuring six modules of varying size and capacity to achieve optimal production capacity. Each module is designed to execute one of six tasks: material feeding, cutter-compactor, extruding, degassing, filtration and pelletizing. Accordingly, desired production levels can vary from 440 pounds per hour to 5,500 pounds per hour, and an array of plastics can be handled, including agricultural film, trimmings from post-industrial new film production and PET packaging. Operators also benefit from an ergonomic machine design, with increased accessibility to control panels and height-adjustable settings for the machine interface.
