摘要

Boosting recycling in the commercial sector has become a bigger concern as communities look to take the "next steps" to keep diversion programs moving forward. Many of the issues in this realm are well-known to industry insiders: a lack of space for containers at many businesses, expensive corral/screening requirements, little management interest to expend dollars and/or labor, and low volumes of recyclable materials. Other than passing "space for recycling" ordinances to cover new construction or remodels, those issues are not easily untangled by community waste management officials.
