摘要

In last month's column, I reviewed Web resources that described the current options for managing the rising flow of waste plastic shopping bags (PSBs) here in the United States. They range, to put it bluntly, from slim to none. Curbside collection of PSBs for recycling is almost non-existent. If you're lucky, you may live in an area where at least one major supermarket operator provides a drop-off location for your PSBs. Otherwise, your only other recourse is to purchase reusable shipping bags and train yourself to use them diligently.
