Established in 1931, the Liskeard-based tipper firm of Allen & Lock is today a well known name within Cornish road transport circles and among the South West's RHA members in particular. As chairman of the RHA's Plymouth and South East Cornwall district, the firm's Jennifer Lock is still a keen motivator for the area's hauliers, for the past five years balancing the role alongside a full-time job at the wheel of her Foden six-wheeler.
