Well here we are with the first issue in a new chapter in the long and illustrious history of Scale Aircraft Modelling. A new look, new editor and a fresh approach that will continue to build one what has Made SAM what it is while incorporating some new concepts.rnFor decades SAM has set the standard by which modelling magazines have been judged by, and ever since the late Alan Hall established the magazine it has reached lofty heights and suffered some lows, much like any other entity.rnOne of SAM's strengths over the years has been the Aircraft in Profile articles, along with the other elements of real aviation information passed along in its various forms. However, that information needs to be topical and rela-rntive to current modelling subjects as much as possible,rnwhile also being informative.
