THIS NEW release may not have the glamour of a Bf. 109 or even a 32nd Ju-88, but then again most Classic Airframes kits don't, which is where their niche lay fortunately for us. The esoteric nature of the subject does not take away from the fact that this is a beautifully done model kit, full of wonderfully rendered and intricate detail. Finely engraved panels and accurately represented texture typify this kit, and on the sprues it is a very impressive model. Classic Airframes kits are not what you would call "shake and bake" so some work can be expected when it comes to the fit, however just how much work it will take will only be revealed when it comes to the build, which James Ashton will undertake for us in an upcoming issue of SAM.
