摘要

Evidence means distinctness and the expert evidence means distinct information given by experts. Forensic experts are scientists, who have worked in Forensic Science. For human resources development, extensive training of forensic experts for the examination of scenes of crime, examination of physical evidences in the laboratory and the preparation of reports and the presentation of evidences in the courts of law are essential. The present paper deals with expert evidence, its importance, factors effecting expert evidence, chain of custody of evidences, cross examination of the experts and the fallacies/problems of expert evidence.
