摘要

The aim of this paper is to investigate the effect of porous medium on magnetohydrodynamic unsteady flow of a visco-elastic (Rivlin-Ericksen) fluid through an inclined channel with two parallel flat plates under the influence of magnetic field with heat transfer inclining heat generating source of heat absorbing sinks, when the plates are moving with the transient velocity of heat while the one of these two plates is adiabatic. The constitutive equations for continuity, motion and energy of visco-elastic liquid are obtained and to obtain the expression for the velocity and temperature distribution, the perturbation method is applied. The effect of Hartmann number (M), Porosity parameter (K_1), Elastic parameter (R_c) and Grashof number (G_r) on the velocity distribution is discussed with the help of graphs. It is concluded that the velocity increases with the increase in M, but it decreases with the increase in K_1, R_c and G_r.
