摘要

The axially-symmetric model has been developed for the study of lattice dynamics of noble metals. The theoretical model consider the two body central and three-body angular forces for ion-ion interaction. The ion-electron interaction has also been incorporated in the present A-S, model. The model developed for noble metals has been employed to obtain the phonon dispersion, specific heat and Debye temperatures of silver. The calculated values have been compared with experimental results showing very good agreement.
