Solid state body means the body of material within which, or at the surface of which, the physical effects characteristic of the device occur. Effect of ultrasonic stress on the solid state devices and materials have been studied and reviewed. Different kinds of mechanism, interpretation responsible for the change in the characteristics of the solid state devices and material have been discussed.
