After inching out of the gate earlier in the year, the Navy League's Anchor Program mentor support partnership with the Navy Safe Harbor program to help seriously wounded service members readjust to civilian life has gathered momentum in recent months. A handful of candidates have been teamed with Navy League "senior mentor" volunteers, and more are in the program pipeline around the country awaiting the selection of mentors from councils in their local area.
