Nethra Imaging was incorporated in November 2003 and began full operations in January 2004 to develop imaging solutions for digital consumer electronic devices. The company closed Series A financing in February 2004 and Series B financing in October 2004. Nethra has raised $10.5 million to date from Artiman Ventures, Alliance Ventures and Annex Ventures and expects to be able to achieve revenues with this level of funding. Future capital requirements, if any, are not expected until sometime in the first half of 2006. The current investors have committed to financial support beyond the current funding. Breakeven is anticipated in by mid-2006. The company has 35 employees in the U.S. and one business development manager in Japan, and anticipates growing by 25% to get its second product into production.
