The first year of the new millennium started well for Dutch shiprepair yard Shipdock Amsterdam with the number of vessels repaired, total hours worked and a gain in profit margins all being above expectations. While fighting for each contract in a highly competitive market, Shipdock, a member of the DCG group of companies, has also put its efforts into improving efficiency and taking advantage of the latest technology in order to improve production. This has resulted in an organisation that is ready for the challenge of the years to come.
