President Barack Obama has established a new campaign to eliminate half of all federal websites in the next year. The Campaign to Cut Government Waste will build on the Accountable Government Initiative, which already has identified $3 billion in information technology savings by shutting down and eliminating redundant data centers and federal real estate.
