A financial management group has created a fund for companies whose services protect the national infrastructure. The money helps established firms to grow and enables them to offer their products more widely to federal and private markets. The war on terrorism is a national effort, encompassing everything from government services to redundancy in power grids and communications networks. As the need for homeland security services increases, more firms are entering this growth area. To support them, financial organizations are coming forward with specialized funding plans. The Paladin Capital Group LLC, Washington, D.C., is providing growth money through its Homeland Security Fund, which is designed to help companies with immediate solutions for preventing terrorist attacks, defending against attacks and coping with the aftermath of an attack or disaster.
