The sensitivity of foundry coke to changes in its moisture content depending on the humidity of the environment was studied. The experimental results showed that an increase in the humidity of the environment led to an increase in the amount of moisture in the foundry coke, which led to the loading of about 10kg of moisture for every 100 kg of coke into the cupola. In this case, an increase in the moisture content of foundry coke of size 60-80 mm was greater, on average, by 26% than that of coke of sizes 40-60 and 80 mm or more.
