This article defines the elements of multiexciter and multiaxis vibration systems, reviews some important milestones in their development, and presents the state-of-the-art in this fast growing method of dynamic-environment simulation. Remarkably, while the capabilities of such systems - their accuracy and replication of the real dynamic environment has advanced, their cost has actually decreased.
