摘要

Holographic interferometry has been used in modal analysis and vibration studies and has found many applications in nondestructive testing. Within the aircraft industry, for example, holography provides a standard acceptance test to detect debonds in reworked tires and is frequently used for analysis of fan and turbine blades in engines. However, the use of continuous wave lasers typically limits the technique to relatively small components which can be brought to vibration-isolation tables. Pulsed lasers remove this limitation, but the relative bulk of the equipment and degree of expertise required to produce results has largely restricted use to engineering labs.
