NASA has not ruled out sending astronauts to the Hubble Space Telescope for one final service call, but agency officials made clear that their preference is to do the job with robotic spacecraft. "We agree that servicing by the shuttle should not be ruled out, although we are aggressively pursuing robotic servicing options," NASA spokesman Glenn Mahone said July 14.
