Earth observation imagery and services provider GeoEye said March 6 that it has received a multiyear, multimillion-dollar contract from GE Aviation to supply terrain maps of the world's busiest airports. The agreement allows GE Aviation to imbed airport terrain and obstacle databases produced from GeoEye's stereo satellite imagery into next-generation navigation and flight-management products and services.
