Nordirop Grumman Corp. said Aug. 9 that it has joined the Hosted Payload Alliance, an industry group formed in 2011 to promote awareness about the benefits ofrnhosting government-funded sensors and other payloads on commercial satellites.rnWith the addition of Northrop Grumman, the Hosted Payload Alliance has 13 member companies. These include spacecraft operators, satellite manufacturers, systems integrators and launch service providers.
