1.After more than seven years as president of the International Space University (ISU) in Strasbourg, France, MICHAEL SIMPSON (above) leaves his post on Sept. 1 to join the staff of the Colorado-based Secure World Foundation as senior program officer. Simpson will assume his new position at the foundation's headquarters in Boulder. Over 24 years, ISU has graduated more than 3,000 students from its professional and master's degree programs. 2.MARC WELINSKI joins Eutelsat Communications, Paris, as director of marketing and commercial strategy. In this new role, Welinski will focus on developing the commercial strategy, including integrated marketing of Eutelsat's brands and improved customer understanding and customer satisfaction tracking.
