Part Ⅰ of this article, featured in Synergy April 2002, discussed a research project undertaken by the University of Leeds, the aim of which was to establish an assessment method for radiographers to judge them suitably trained to undertake mam-mographic image reporting. The research methodology was a case study, undertaken in two phases. Phase one, discussed in Part One, was the development of the mammographic image reporting assessment in order to address the question: how to assess? Phase two was the testing of the assessment, by means of a pilot study, to address the question: how to respond? Part Ⅱ of this paper will present the results of this pilot study and the modifications made in light of those results.
