Heinrich Huppmann GmbH, Kitzingen, Germany, a specialist in brewery optimization and turnkey brewery solutions, and Emerson Process Management, Austin, TX, a world leader in process control Systems, through its PC&E, Inc. And Fisher-Rosemount Systems, Inc. Divisions have jointly developed a unique approach to automating Brewery batch processes. Called alpha. 88~TM, the ISA S88.01-compliant Batch automation solution for breweries relies on an advanced process Control platform rather than the hybrid programmable logic controller/ Human-machine interface platform typically specified by breweries.
