Woollen garments with a high degree of shrink-resistance that results from an atmospheric plasma treatment developed in Italy are to be made available for commercial trials as early as 2014. The first industrial machine based on the patented development of Veneto Nanotech SCpA of Padova and ME.RO SpA of Lucca will be built this year for the in-line processing of up to 500 kg a day of wool fibre.
