Cosmos Electronic Machine Corp and Kabar Manuafacturing Corp, both of Farmingdale, New York, USA, are manufacturers of radiofrequency (RF) sealing equipment and tooling. Visitors to the Industrial Fabrics Association International's IFAI Expo in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, 25-27 October 201 I (Stand 1258) can see a demonstration of the latest such equipment from the two sister companies—the Computerized Automatic Power Control RF Welder. The machine has a power of 10 kW and users can change the tools quickly, the companies will say, as they demonstrate the system's ability to weld vinyl fittings (such as grommets, filters, cleats, handles and drain ports), as well as curved and non-linear welds.
