D'Apollonia of Italy and its development partners in the Poly-functional Technical Textiles against Natural Hazards (Polytect) project won an Innovation Award at the JEC Composites show, held in Paris, France from 13-15 April, for their development of so-called "seismic wallpaper".rnAs part of the € 10.2 million project, which is funded by the European Union (EU), sensor-embedded grids and filters are being developed for use in structural health monitoring (SHM) in geot-echnical and masonry applications.
