Two events held on consecutive days at the end of May provided a comprehensive overview of the current state of the global synthetic fibres industry-in particular that remaining in Europe with a technical end-use emphasis.rnThe International Rayon and Synthetic Fibres Committee (CIRFS) - see also, page 11 - held its 60th anniversary conference on 26 May, followed by the Executive Seminar of the European Association of Textile Polyolefins (EATP) on 27 May, both taking pake at the NH du Grand Sablon Hotel in Brussels, Belgium.
