Coating and lamination are twin technologies that can completely transform the appearance, handle, properties and performance of technical textiles. Consequently, their application has grown rapidly worldwide. Such progress therefore made it highly appropriate that the 3rd European Coating Congress should focus on the latest innovations from research and development organizations, and machinery and chemical manufacturers. Held in Kortrijk, Belgium, the event was organized by Unitex, in collaboration with TO_2C; Hogeschool, Gent; Centexbel; Febeltex; and Vlaams Innovatienetwerk.
