At the Techtextil, the Korean fiber producer Huvis Corp., Seoul, focussed on its high-performance fiber portfolio. MetaOne is Korea's first meta-aramid fiber available on the market. The fiber is resistant to melting even after many hours of exposure to high temperatures. It is possible to work continuously at 210 ℃. MetaOne is flame-retardant with a LOI value of 28, offers very good electrical insulating properties at high temperatures and shows a high dimensional stability. Applications are nonwovens, reinforcements, or protective clothing. ParaOne is the brand for Huvis' para-aramid fiber portfolio.
