The weather has a huge influence on people and nature, especially under extreme conditions. Unexpected cold snaps with temperatures lower than -20 ℃ can be seriously detrimental to daily life, especially in moderate regions, and can even result in death, as happened in the south of Canada and the USA at the beginning of 2014. The Niagara Falls froze over during a heavy frost in January 2014 and 21 people died - and these events are happening more frequently as a result of climate change. Whereas some people are surprised by a sudden drop in temperature, others, such as Eskimos, live with cold temperatures all the time. They all need clothing that keeps them warm and which is affordable at the same time.
