The producer of advanced fibers and composites Teijin Ltd., Tokyo/Japan, has announced its revised medium-term management plan through fiscal 2016, updating the original plan formulated in 2012 to reflect changes in the business environment and the progress made in ongoing restructuring initiatives. The cornerstones of the revised plan is to dramatically restructure loss-making businesses and create a new framework for promoting transformation and growth strategies with the aim of building a foundation for future growth. Accordingly, Teijin has revised its targets for fiscal 2016. The Teijin Group will implement the measures by the end of fiscal 2016.
