100 exhibitors from 9 countries presented their newest developments in textiles and composites in various areas of automotive production at the mtex, the International Trade Fair & Symposium for Textiles and Composites in Vehicle Manufacturing, from June 8-10, 2010, in Chemnitz/Germany. Almost 1,100 visitors collected information from the exhibitors as well as the 3-day symposium and numerous exhibitor lectures on the newest trends in the industry. The spectrum reached from textile components and technical solutions for automotive interiors through various materials and novel components for vehicle seats to textile composites for lightweight applications in vehicles, ships and airplanes.
