摘要

The acrylic fiber producer Dolan GmbH, Kel-heim/Germany, a leading producer of solution-dyed acrylic fibers, is expanding its capacity. Demand for Dolan fibers has risen sharply and prompting the company to invest in an expansion of the fiber production. The expansion represents an investment of approx. € 0.5 million, and will increase Dolan capacity by approx. 10 % to 15,400 tons/ year. Debottlenecking of both existing production lines has already started and will be completed in the first quarter of 2011. Dolan is a solution-dyed wet-spun acrylic fiber and can match any color requirement and the ISO approved process & quality controls guarantee excellent color consistency and reproducibility. Dolan is the ideal fiber for the production of textiles used in garden and furniture fabrics, awnings and sun umbrellas, car tops and boat covers.
