Processors of technical textiles are now generally seeking to optimize processes and adapt themselves to changing demands in terms of product quality and performance. Due to a lack of really innovative materials, suppliers of processing technologies are focusing their efforts on optimization of processes.rnThere is a growing trend toward using sewing technology for joining technical materials. This method makes it possible to not only shape the design of seams and connections, but also to insert defined areas of reinforcement. The 3D sewing method especially designed for "in situ" production, i.e. on finished or semi-finished structures, has moved past the development stage and been transferred to real-life manufacturing processes. Sewing heads that can be pivoted 360 degrees allow for necessary changes in direction and movement.
