While ITEEA strengthens the profes sion through leadership, professional development, membership services, publications, and curricula, its real strength comes from its members. One hundred years after its founding, our great nation was nearing the end of the Industrial Revolution. Advances in energy, manufacturing, communication, and transportation technologies during the 19th century led to exponential growth of the American economy and changed society forever.
