The marriage between videogames and Hollywood has certainly not resulted in delivering anything close to Oscar-winning material, but believe it or not, some of these projects have indeed proven to be fantastic entertainers. These adaptations usually follow a common plot: bad guys trying to put together separate pieces of an ancient relic/stone/artifact, in order to control the global supply of American cheese, err...control all the power in the world, I meant. Even though these bad adaptations have been heavily criticized for the unimaginable level of doozyness being portrayed in them, we still can't help but look forward to the future projects; be it Peter Jackson's upcoming Halo flick, a movie dedicated to the Legend of Chun-Li, or even the highly anticipated 'Gears of War' movie. While we wait and hope for their sake that the creators can present or come up with something worthwhile for a change, following is our take on a few hand picked-video-game to movie adaptations.
