Today even bizbooks have started offering features found normally on an entertainment laptop. For instance, one of the business notebooks from Wipro that we reviewed last month had an HDMI port and dedicated multimedia controls, and the latest Latitude series from Dell offers business notebooks in 5 different lid colors with dedicated graphics cards. So while the JoyBook S41 does not include any groundbreaking design, it breaks free from the clutter by not having a glossy lid. I liked the inclusion of the metal inserts on the palmrest. Then there's the performance aspect; with powerful discrete graphics, it can be used for gaming or 3D applications. The 14.1" WXGA screen is not the brightest but offers good clarity even at uncommon viewing angles. The keyboard is well spaced out and offers good feedback. Ditto with the trackpad. For wired connectivity you get four USB ports, mini-FireWire, LAN, modem, Expresscard slot, 5-in-1 card reader and 3.5mm audio out.
