I've never seen, heard or played a game that has actually managed to make a mockery of the global gaming coverage media as much as Gears 2. And now that I've made my initial peace, its time to put some light on the subject at hand. The locusts are back and after destroying all human city-states, they're now gunning for Jacinto. mankind's last known haven. This has given Marcus Fenix and his Delta Squad a reason to fight, engage, and terminate. The campaign is definitely bigger and better than the original. But keep in mind that the plot of the original was nothing more than an interactive piffle of an exercise. Now, how is it better exactly, you ask? Well, for starters, the gun toting adventure lasts for about 10 hours and is full of gasping moments that will force you to wonder whether Hollywood inspired interactive action tales are hero to stay. The sheer scale of the set pieces is absolutely breathtaking, and the storyline progresses well from the original.
