The telecoms industry has undergone significant changes. Fixed-line and mobile operators have made significant network infrastructure investments, and with broadband becoming all-pervasive, operators are thinking hard about new services that they can deliver to customers. At the same time, new industry entrants from the Web world have introduced offerings and disruptive business models that stand to threaten operators' standing.
