摘要

Air-covered yarns show significant effect on loop density, metal-to-yarn friction, tensile force, elongation at break, IR %, PS % and LT but makes no significant effect on linear density, static SER % and DR %. As twist level increases in the polyester sheath yarn, loop density, metal-to-yarn friction and LT also increases. Tensile and elongation at break increase up to certain limit and then starts decreasing.
